Proud Wife

As many of you know, Brandon and I moved to Nashville for his CRNA masters program just over a year ago now. It has been an exciting year filled with lots of new things. New home, new friends, new places, new adventures...and lots & lots of new learning at a new school for my guy.
This first year of anesthesia school has been a busy one for sure. During the first year they combine both classwork and clinical rotations, and it definitely keeps you going. But, Brandon has really worked hard and has done so well. (And, it helps that he loves what he's doing!)
This week as I watched him studying in his usual spot, feet propped up on the coffee table, reading away in his textbook iPad...I couldn't help but be a very proud wife. You see, this week is his finals week, meaning he will now officially be a "senior" and entering the second (and last!!) phase of the program. (which consists mainly of clinicals and preparing for boards) He will now have clinicals Monday through Friday, but the majority of the classwork is done.  No more classes every day! YAY!! We are getting there!! It is a big milestone, and I am so proud of him and his dedication & positivity throughout this entire past year.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again and again-I am SO blessed to have this guy as my husband.

(And of course...I had to sneak in a few photos of this study session!! ;))

So proud of this guy!!
12 months complete. 16 to go!
