Our Life Is Here...February Edition!

Hi Friends!! Happy Valentines Day to each of you!!

Today I am so excited to introduce you to some absolutely lovely and talented women who are all part of a blog circle that I am very honored to be joining this month!
I had the pleasure of taking my first photography workshop with these ladies almost 1 year ago, and I feel so blessed that our friendship has continued ever since.
They are truly the most kind and supportive group of ladies and I know you will be inspired when you look through their photos.

In case you might be wondering what a blog circle is...this is how it works! Every month, we will each be posting photos on our blogs under the theme "Our Life is Here."
And, at the end of each post, you will see a link to the next blog. If you click through the links on everyone's page, you will complete a full circle!! Sounds fun, right!
We all share the common love of photographing our everyday and we hope you enjoy seeing little peeks into our worlds. (Be forewarned: these ladies have THE most adorable kiddos ever!!)

Our life is here...routine Sunday mornings in our little apartment. Sleeping in a little longer, enjoying breakfast together, and just relaxing--together. Oh the weekends...they can't be beat.
It's these simple and special times that I love the most. I am just finishing up a workshop by the very inspirational Ginger Unzueta that focuses on finding beauty in our every day---capturing photographs to remember and cherish the little details of our life. I will say that this course really inspired me while taking these photos. Here's why, I typically shy away from taking photos in my kitchen because there is honestly not much light at all (just very little filtering in from the living room/hallway, that's it). And we all know how much we LOVE light when taking photos.
But, when I think about it, the Kitchen is a place where Brandon and I spend a good portion of our time. So, I don't want to let the lack of light stop me from taking pictures in a place where we have lots of memories. We'll only be living here for a short phase in our lives, and I know I'll love looking back at these photos and remembering the moments we spent, just the two of us, in the spaces of our little apartment. So, thank you Ginger for inspiring me to capture the essence of where we really "live" inside our home!! What a blessing your workshop has been.
