Savannah, oh how I love you.
Brandon had a week off from school, so we decided to go on a little road trip. One week together, exploring new and exciting places...can't get much better!
Savannah has always been on our wish list of must-see cities, and I will say--it most certainly lived up to it's expectations!
Sun filtering through the moss covered trees, cobblestone roads and paths, ivy covered walls and steps, blossoming trees, beautiful southern architecture...oh the charm!
We decided that the best way for us to see the city would be on-foot...so we purchased the walking tour guidebook, and Brandon led the way!
Here he is mapping out our day in the hotel room... Such a good tour guide. ;)
As we made our way around the city.. I couldn't help but take lots of photos of the beautiful homes and pretty architecture. I mean, these streets are just begging to have their picture taken! ;)
I also have such a hard time narrowing down my photos to share on here, so this is a very big share! Hope you enjoy this little taste of Savannah through my lens...
I would love to have one of these in my yard someday. ;) As I walked under these big and beautiful trees, I couldn't help but think of all the history they have seen.
This is the oldest home in all of Savannah. So much character... don't you love it?!
Heading down the narrow (& very cool!) stairs leading to the riverside...
Enjoying a super delicious ice cream cone from Leopold's!
In love with all of the steeples in Savannah...
The beautiful Forsyth Park.
We were so blessed with a beautiful day!
I think we walked to just about every square in all of Savannah....and finished our day back by the river again!
Had to get at least one photo together from our first day in Savannah!
Thankful for an amazing day!
