Hi Friends! The past couple of days have been keeping me busy at work... but starting today I am off for an extra long Labor day weekend! YAY!! My goal is to get lots more vacation photos posted over the next few days, so stay tuned for more to come! :)
Back to our first day in California....now we are off to Thousand Steps Beach! We had heard about this place from friends of ours and knew we had to check it out. Located in a rocky cove amidst Laguna's beautiful beaches, right off of the Pacific Coast Highway, down
1000 250 steps, is the gorgeous Thousand Steps beach. If you didn't know about this place you would probably pass it right by as it isn't highly marked AND you have to walk down a good set of stairs to get there. This is just one aspect that makes this beach oh so amazing...somewhat secluded and not overly crowded!! As I mentioned before, this was my first time to a Southern California beach, and boy did I love it! The rolling waves, rocky cliffs lined with the most amazing beach houses, tide pools filled with beautiful marine life, a cave to explore and so much more. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to enjoy the ocean, play some volleyball, and take lots of pictures. ;)
