Our Life is Here | 2015 | Green

Trees budding. Grass coming to life. AND... St. Patrick's day. 

What do these three things have in common? 

You guessed it---GREEN! 

SO--for the month of March, Our Life is Here blog circle is going green!

A few weeks ago, my family and I enjoyed a wonderful spring break on the beautiful island of North Captiva, FL. 

Most of our mornings would start with a delicious green smoothie...

and a climb up to the very top of house, aka "the crows nest", to watch the sunrise over the tropical green foliage...

or a stroll along the beach in the pretty morning light..(couldn't help but notice the green sea grass along the way!) 

And before the heat of the day, we enjoyed getting in some fun activities such as...

 tennis!

or...

kayaking!

and then finish off with a refreshing dip at the pool before heading back to the house for lunch...

because my eyes were on the lookout for green, I took lots and lots of pictures of green foliage...

and lots of pictures of this green moss too...;)

In the afternoons and evenings, this right here was my favorite place to be...with my guy in green by the emerald green sea. (thanks for the photo, dad!)

and then, after watching the sunset--we'd walk back to our house down the sandy dirt road lined with lots of pretty, tropical green.

A truly wonderful & relaxing trip!
