California Trip Day 3: Joshua Tree National Park!

Brandon and I both enjoy the outdoors and exploring new places, so being in southern California & just over an hour away from Joshua Tree National Park, we decided to check it out!  And, we are so glad we did. There is something so uniquely beautiful about the desert. The arid, dry landscape dispersed with large rock formations, cactuses, succulents, yuccas, and of course the famous Joshua Tree....all set against the vast blue sky. Since it was midweek...(and mid summer!), we felt like we almost had the place to our selves. We enjoyed visiting Keys View where you can see all the way to Mexico (on a very clear day ;)), a walk through Hidden Valley, and of course climbing and exploring through all of the awesome rocks. It was a such a fun date in the desert! :)
